Fall 2026 Paid Internships with People for Planet and Democracy

People for Planet and Democracy is looking for curious, creative students who want to help strengthen communities while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience.

This fall, our interns will work directly with PPD on community engagement, communications and the development of Find Your People: A Community Join Fair, taking place November 10.

We are currently accepting applications for two paid internship opportunities for high school and college students in Southeastern Connecticut.

Community Engagement & Nonprofit Leadership Intern
For college students

Gain hands-on experience in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, communications, partnerships and event development while helping build Find Your People.

Youth Engagement Intern
For high school students

Help PPD connect with young people, create engaging communications, and bring a student perspective to Find Your People and other community projects.
