Student Opportunities with People for Planet and Democracy

People for Planet and Democracy believes young people should have a voice in building stronger communities and shaping the future.

Students have opportunities to contribute to PPD's work through community engagement, communications, youth outreach and special projects.

Fall 2026 Update

Applications for our Fall 2026 internship program are currently paused.

This fall, PPD is working with a small group of student volunteers to help with youth engagement, communications and Find Your People: A Community Join Fair, taking place November 10 in New London.

Future internship and student opportunities, including paid opportunities when funding is available, will be posted here.

Thank you for your interest in People for Planet and Democracy.

Meet Our Student Volunteers
